The Thuraya ADU/BDU Satellite Terminal is a durable and versatile communication solution designed for mobile and fixed installations requiring reliable satellite voice, SMS, and data connectivity. With support for circuit-switched voice, SMS, and GmPRS via serial interface, it is ideal for maritime, land vehicles, government, and enterprise applications.
The system consists of an Antenna Deployment Unit (ADU) and a Below Deck Unit (BDU), engineered to operate in harsh environments. The ADU (IP67 rated) withstands extreme weather, while the BDU (IP32) integrates user-friendly controls including a 2.4" display, keypad, navigation pad, and SOS button for emergency communication.
With a wide range of interfaces (RS-232, NMEA, RJ-11 for analog extension, GPIO ports, audio output, SIM slot), the terminal ensures seamless integration into existing infrastructure. The system supports Thuraya SatTrack add-on application, enabling advanced fleet tracking and monitoring capabilities.
