The Garmin Montana 700 combines perfect outdoor navigation and the plus of safety
Satellite systems
With access to GPS, GLONASS and Galileo satellite networks, the Garmin Montana 700 device provides better tracking in more challenging environments than using GPS alone. The LiveTrack feature allows you to wirelessly connect the device to other compatible Garmin GPS users so they can track your tracks, routes, waypoints and adventures.
Battery
An internal lithium-ion battery pack provides more than 18 hours of runtime in GPS mode. However, the device can also run on standard AA batteries. Cover long distances in the field. Use Expedition Mode, an ultra-low power GPS reference mode, to use Montana for a week or more before it needs recharging.
Reliable weather info
Use the Garmin Connect app and access currently active weather forecasts with the Montana 700. You'll never be surprised by bad weather again.
Mounts for boats, motorcycles and more.
With a variety of mounts compatible with the Montana handheld (sold separately), you can use the navigation device with off-road vehicles, boats, cars, motorcycles, RVs or other vehicles.
Detailed satellite imagery, Topoactive Europe maps.
Garmin Montana 700 lets you install downloadable BirdEye satellite imagery (no annual subscription required) directly to your device to display photo-realistic views and create waypoints based on landmarks.Use preloaded TopoActive Europe maps to navigate your adventures. View elevation data, coastlines, rivers, clues and more.
Perfect dog tracking
For hunters and trainers, this Montana syncs with compatible Astro® or Alpha® series handhelds (sold separately) to track sporting dogs in the field.
