The Thuraya Voyager uses the Thuraya IP Internet protocol and allows surfing the worldwide Internet without restrictions. The Thuraya Voyager is also ideally suited for dedicated streaming, for example for live video transmissions, in the broadcast area or for establishing a connection via VPN to a company network. The Thuraya Voyager offered by us are optimized in the data connection and thus allow a noticeably faster connection than the devices of other providers or via original Thuraya SIM cards. In addition, with our SIM cards you benefit from extremely favorable data packages. (For example 1GB per month for 526€). Thuraya coverage covers more than two thirds of the globe in 161 countries in Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
Two types of broadband data services are available: standard IP and streaming IP.
Standard IP, also called Background IP or Variable Bit Rate (VBR), offers up to 444 kbit / s reception speed and transmission speed based on best-effort and shared bandwidth.
If you need streaming IP your bandwidth reserved only for you, also called Constant Bit Rate (CBR), then we offer dedicated data connections from 16 kbit / s to 384 kbit / s in various combinations of up and download on a per minute basis. With each Thuraya IP+ terminal, you can activate the streaming services via the web interface or directly on the device.
This is the only terminal of its kind on the market that can achieve such high streaming rates on the go. Other terminals on the market reach a maximum of 256 kbps with limitations.
The IP Voyager antenna is equipped with an automatic tracking system that automatically selects and permanently realigns the Thuraya satellite available at the current location. The integrated GPS receiver determines the current position and permanently optimizes the alignment of the antenna based on position and signal strength.
Several external terminals can be connected via LAN cable or WLAN as with a standard router. The robust terminal is supplied with 12V-32V on-board power and can also be mounted securely in vehicles with the integrated mounting holes.

All 4 Ethernet interfaces support up to 15 watts of power for each PoE-powered device. The total PoE power is limited to a maximum of 30 W for 12 V installations. The terminal automatically detects the class of the connected device and applies power so that the sum of these limits is not exceeded when the user attempts to connect a combination of devices that require more than this, the terminal does not turn on devices that would exceed the limit.
